I’m a huge fan of No-bake Neighbor gifts. Don’t get me wrong, I love receiving yummy treats. I just don’t like giving them, at least not at Christmastime. It just seems that by the time I’ve gotten all the goodies baked, plated, wrapped and tagged I’m just too tired and messy to go deliver them.
Over the years, I’ve come up with several non-bake neighbor gifts that are simple, cute and good for any budget. I’m pretty sure this paper plate idea is one of my favorites…

You could spend anywhere from $2-$10 depending how far you want to take it. I bought the 9″X13″ foil tins and most of my paper products for 1/2 off the previous year. I payed full price for a few sets of paper products and the plastic flatware.

For $2-$3 you could just give plates, cups and napkins. Look how cute they look all wrapped in cellophane! Anything looks better in cellophane with a bow, right?

If your budget isn’t so tight you can add in the tins and flatware. The plain foil tins are typically half the price of the holiday ones and work just as well.

One of the reasons I love this gift idea so much is because it can be prepared days or weeks in advanced. And if someone is not home when you go to deliver, it will be just fine on their front porch until they get home.
